Getting Some Naked Body Painting In Times Square

On a sunny Wednesday afternoon in late July, several nudies including myself gathered in Manhattan. https://s3.amazonaws.com/q-naturist/nudism-porn.html prepared to get nude for among the few times public nudity is permitted in NYC: for a live art exhibition!
Ten people participated, including a man who offered from the crowd.
Overall the day went very well, but not without its fair share of trouble from city officials, police officers and security guards. First some people came over claiming the footpath we were on was their property (it was not), so Andy had to deal with them. Then we'd some plain clothes police officers come over, yelling and demanding that I put my clothes on.

After validating they were really policemen, Andy recovered some documents he carries with him, for situations just such as this. They calmed down and started reading a letter which clarifies that nudity is completely legal in NYC if it is part of an exhibition or show.
They said "fine" and left us alone. This is not a one-time occurrence for Andy, who gets disturbed and harassed all the time while doing his live body paintings, despite the fact that he has permission and that it is 100% legal.

There was a crowd of onlookers at all times, but in this region, it was much tamer than when I got body painted in the centre of Times Square. People honed in a little too closely at times, but it was modest enough to restrain.
We took off our tops to start, Andy painted, and then we carried on to take off the remainder. It is the first summer that Andy has painting naked folks in the daytime.
He previously had an arrangement with the city to only paint models in g-strings until sunset. With a new lawyer, they managed to remove this unfair deal, and now he can paint nude people at any time of day (which was always legal).
Once we were all painted, we took a slow walk down to the busier part of Times Square, weaving through the swarms of people. https://s3.amazonaws.com/q-naturist/nude-beach-pictures.html appeared happy to see us.
The reactions were generally positive. https://s3.amazonaws.com/q-naturist/beach-voyeur.html believed it was wonderful that we had such a diverse group of models - fat, skinny, young, old, of different shapes, sizes and ethnicities. Naked (or almost-nude) people in the media all basically represent one appearance, one race, one body type. We need more diversity such as this!
I asked the models themselves for comments about the complete experience, and here's what they had to say:
"This was the creation of body art [while] speaking with, laughing with, expose with, simply having fun with the crowd. I've been a performer for a long time, and this is likely the most delighted and appreciative crowd I Have ever had. It was indescribably entertaining. I would get it done again in a pulse." Mr. Sandy
"As you may understand from my blog, I'm quite comfortable nude and I 've been to numerous occasions that included complete body painting, but doing it at Times Square brings this experience to the next level. It took some time to get used to maintain the center of attention of heaps of people, but the general atmosphere of fun and encouragement caused it to be simple to love it! Obviously, many folks were curious about what was occurring, and you could see all kinds of reactions but virtually all were positive.
Many folks were surprised to find out it was absolutely legal. It was amusing to hear that even when individuals were baffled in the beginning, they promptly approved the event as soon as they heard the magic word 'artwork' - Fortunately, some people detected another important factor of this body art occasion the models were of different ages and body complexions, which definitely encouraged body acknowledgement; and could there be any better place for that than Times Square? Yet, not all the reactions were positive. Not long after the body painting, our good friend Maria received an anonymous letter. It was an appalling assault on her size and look. It read:
Nobody said you were amazing or which you seem amazing because you did not. As a matter fact most people who saw your photos looked away in disgust.
